Developments at the Aquincum Museum

New developments will be taking place at the Aquincum Museum. Last year the museum won an EU tender for the improvement of tourist attractions, which includes the expansion of the new exhibition building; the establishment of a reception wall modelling the reconstruction of the ancient city wall; the entrance unit (cashier, information centre, visitor orientation centre); the development of a virtual experience space and a parking lot; setting up Roman playground; the reconstruction of the ruins park; the establishment and the partial accessibility of an outdoor exhibition place.
This will result in a new and unique archaeological heritage and tourist visitor centre in Aquincum, which will be open to the public all year and offering a wide range of services. Development ideas will be presented to the press in detail in the coming days.
