The Budapest Christmas Fair is a true family event, where people from all generations can experience the magic of nostalgic gifts together, as well as learn on how to make these gifts directly from the folk artists. What could be a better gift to a grandparent than a wooden toy they have not seen for a long time or a hand-made Christmas ornament? However, the fair also offers a rich selection of fashionable items, being prepared by the craftsmen especially for this event. Leather goods, silver and enamel jewellery, books, CDs, wooden toys, hand-blown glass figures, wrought iron items, blue-dye fabrics, baskets, pots, candles and bags are all there on the counters of qualified folk artists. |
