The exhibition is looking for the answer of the question of what considerations formed and influenced the Hungarian view about the Finnish from the end of the 19th century until today.Starting from the traditional culture elements, showing the Finnish-Hungarian relationship arriving to the products of the principle Finnish companies of today, and to reveal, to show and to define the reasons of the Finnish example, the Finnish miracle.
The exhibition’s mental guideline is the question of tradition. It shows the Finnish relationship to tradition, its changes, and references through this the Hungarians attitude as well. The tradition or the non-tradition is the organiser of the society? How does the tradition and postmodernity relates to each other.
The exhibition’s object material is made of three layer: it basically builds on the Finnish material of the Europe Museum’s collection and other Hungarian Museum’s Finnish relating objects; and further counts on the offset products of the ones interested in the Finnish culture. The third layer relates to the object world of today, which was purchased from the MaDok art purchasing tender. Further on counts on the arts imported by the ones interested in the Finnish culture.
